Kim is responsible for the day to day operations of the company and oversees all captive formations. She is the former risk manager for a Fortune 50 company, responsible for placement of billions of dollars of insurance coverage, management of its captives and hundreds of millions of dollars of claims and resolution of coverage disputes involving complex coverage matters. Kim has consulted with a number of large publicly traded and privately owned businesses in optimizing their risk management programs and establishing captive insurance programs, large and small.
She is a licensed attorney, and has written and spoken on insurance topics including “Possibilities and Pitfalls with Captive Insurance,” Estate Planning Magazine, August 2011; Webinar – Business and Tax Planning with Captive Insurance Companies. (Thomsen Reuters – Oct 26, 2011; Captive Insurance in Estate Planning – a Profit Maximization and Risk Reduction Tool, 2012.
Kim holds MBA and J.D. degrees from Emory University and is a graduate of Oglethorpe University. She is a member of the ABA Captive Insurance Committee and board member of the Georgia Captive Insurance Association.
Kim is an Atlanta native and she and her husband and two children reside in Atlanta.
